Information we collect

Contact information. When you book an appointment or contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, and phone number. Online bookings are processed by Square Appointments and are subject to Square's privacy policy.

Photos for AI skin analysis. If you use our skin analysis tool, the photo you upload is securely sent to our artificial intelligence provider (OpenAI) to generate the analysis. Splendida does not store your photo on our servers after the analysis, and under OpenAI's API policies your images are not used to train their models. Results are general cosmetic guidance only and are not a medical diagnosis. Please do not upload photos of minors.

Client portal. If you are a client using our portal, we securely store your treatment history, appointments, loyalty points, notes, and — with your consent — before & after photos. This data is stored with strict access controls and is visible only to authorized spa staff.

Usage data. We use basic, privacy-friendly web analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand site traffic. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: to keep you signed in to the client portal or admin panel, and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies.

Who we share information with

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate: Square (booking), OpenAI (skin analysis), Supabase (secure portal database), Vercel (website hosting), and WhatsApp/Meta when you choose to contact us there. We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing splendidaspahouston@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Minors

Our services and this website are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date of the latest update.
